This was a recipe I had cut out of a magazine a few years ago I have no clue which one just obviously liked the look of it and thought of making it a few years later here we are. I do hope you enjoy these little beauty’s
If you follow me on social media you will Know I had an issue getting them out of the pan and it broke in half thats why I have said to use non stick baking paper to hopefully prevent that from happening.
You could add pecans to this recipe if you want that would be a nice twist, either way enjoy.
Banana Blondies
These are the white chocolate version to brownies
Ingredients
- 100 g unsalted butter
- 200 g White Chocolate roughly chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 150 g light brown sugar
- 150 g Plain flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 very ripe Bananas
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180’c fan 160’c Gas mark 4line a 20×20 square tin with non stick baking paper.Melt the butter and half of the chocolate (100g)in a bowl over a simmering pan of hot water.Remove once melted and allow to cool Meanwhile add the flour, Baking powder and salt into a seperate bowl Add the eggs, sugar and vanilla to the chocolate butter mixture and whisk it up really well it will all come together nicely.Then add it all to the dry mix and slowly whisk it altogether until its all mixed through.Peal the banans and mash them up with a folk add them along with the rest of the chopped chocolate to the mix and stirpour the mixture into your prepared tin and bake for 25-30 mins or until golden and firm to touchLeave in the tin for 10 mins then remove and allow to cool completely
