I am a mum to two teenagers 19 and 15 and a wife to my long-suffering husband who I have been with over 20 years now.
We have a Patterdale terrier called Buddy who is 5 and then we have a new addition as of last september Belle another Patterdale terrier who is now 8 months and the baby of the family, We have 15 chickens Henrietta, Rosie, Ruby, Dottie, Bluebell, Daisy, Victoria, Doris, Mabel, Roxy, Honey, Clementine, Ginger, Primrose, Annie. You will see them often on my blog and on my social media.

I love being a homemaker/housewife whichever way you want to look at it. You will find me in the garden or pottering around in the house, or even baking a cake or providing a good home cooked meal. That’s my life, I would not change it for the world.

I was diagnosed after a long 2 and half year battle of fatigue tiredness backache, muscles, and joint pain Bowel problems etc. I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia on the 31st July 2015 I do live with Hypermobile joints too, when I was told by my consultant I was relieved and not at the same time I didn’t want this I wanted to go back to my normal life but this has taken a bit of getting used to but this is where my fight began, I will not let it get me down I will continue to fight it but in the way that is best for my body. My symptoms are under control with medication and exercise and I manage the bad days along with the good.

Fibromyalgia is a health disorder characterised by widespread, chronic pain in the muscles and soft tissues in the body.

I love collecting Emma Bridgewater pieces and Cath Kidston items for my home and the odd bag for me. You will see I love to take photos of my home and life and I will continue to share with you recipes and all Home interiors and crafts with you here. So please make sure you have signed up to receive my posts, so you won’t miss any.
Please leave comments on my posts if you wish I do love to hear your thoughts and ideas.
